About Us

The College of Dental Hygienists of Saskatchewan (CDHS or “College”) is the regulatory body responsible for registering and licensing nearly 800 Registered Dental Hygienists in the province of Saskatchewan. 

Under the authority of The Dental Disciplines Act (“Act”), the CDHS protects the public by ensuring that only those who have met the qualifications necessary to provide safe, competent, and ethical care as specified by the Act and Bylaws are registered as dental hygienists in Saskatchewan.  


Our Mission: The College of Dental Hygienists of Saskatchewan protects the public through the regulation of the dental hygiene profession.  
 
Our Vision: We are a trusted partner for the public, upholding the quality and safety of dental hygiene care provided in Saskatchewan.

THE SASKATCHEWAN DENTAL HYGIENISTS’ ASSOCIATION (SDHA) IS A CORPORATION UNDER THE DENTAL DISCIPLINES ACTAS OF JULY 1, 2024, THE SDHA OPERATES AS THE COLLEGE OF DENTAL HYGIENISTS OF SASKATCHEWAN (CDHS).
