In Saskatchewan, individuals must be registered and licensed with the CDHS to use the protected title of “dental hygienist” or any word, designation, or abbreviation that implies they are a registrant. A dental hygienist must hold the appropriate license to perform authorized practices subject to any terms, conditions, and/or limitations.
