Annual Renewal is now open for the 2025-2026 licensing year.
The deadline to renew without penalty is October 20th, 2025. Late renewals may be accepted until October 31, 2025, with a penalty.
All current licences expire at midnight on October 31, 2025. Registrants who do not renew by October 31, 2025, will be removed from the registry and are not permitted to practice as of November 1, 2025. If these individuals want a licence after October 31, 2025, they will be required to make an application for reinstatement.
In Saskatchewan, individuals must be registered and licensed with the CDHS to use the protected title of “dental hygienist” or any word, designation, or abbreviation that implies they are a registrant. A dental hygienist must hold the appropriate license to perform authorized practices subject to any terms, conditions, and/or limitations.
