File a Complaint

The College of Dental Hygienists of Saskatchewan (CDHS) manages complaints, investigations, and hearing processes in accordance with the Dental Disciplines Act, Bylaws, and other applicable legislation and policies. A complaint alleging conduct unbecoming of a dental hygienist, incompetence, incapacity, and/or professional misconduct may come from a member of the public, an employer, another health professional, another College, or another registrant of the CDHS. 

Registrants include those on the CDHS Public Directory with a registration status of Full, Conditional, or Non-practising. Complaints may be filed against a former registrant up to two years after the day in which they became a former registrant.

If you are concerned about a Registered Dental Hygienist in Saskatchewan a complaint can be filed with the CDHS. 

Complaints must:

  • be in writing, signed, and dated;
  • contain the contact information of the complainant;
  • be regarding the actions of a dental hygienist;
  • identify the issue/concern of the complaint.
